A workshop under Uniting Generations, a program of Community Mediation Services, CRECE Family Enrichment Center, and Civic Engagement Commission, as part of their effort to bring this type of project under an initiative called Participatory Budgeting.

Thanks to the support of the Uniting Generation Program, I led a workshop intended to give participants of all ages a safe space to sart, discuss, collaborate and complete a short creative writing story. Throughout 5 writing sessions, participants crafted their stories while creating community through readings and shared work. I also collected the stories and edited the book. This workshop included a book presentation of the reunited works, presented in the same location of our meetings, Queens Public Library at Corona.
