A program of Community Mediation Services, CRECE Family Enrichment Center, and Civic Engagement Commission, as part of their effort to bring this type of project under an initiative called Participatory Budgeting.
Are Hispanic older adults interested in creative writing? That question was the spark that ignited this fantastic workshop, Your Story, Your Voice. Thanks to the United Generations program, I was able to create a space where we could imagine, remember, and begin to tell our stories in the way only we can. Over the course of this journey, I have had the joy of reading some of the most remarkable tales from our Hispanic community here in New York.
