Fall 2025 Poetry Mondays

I created a space for faculty, students and members of the Hofstra community to read poetry while enjoying a coffee or tea. Due to increasing number of members interested, we moved to the Hofstra Parlor Room.

Outreach: Please join us in these biweekly sessions to read, discuss, and write poetry in Spanish at the Romance Languages and Literatures Department. Led by Professor and poet Natalia Chamorro, these gatherings will feature readings of compelling poems, in Spanish and in English translation, and discussions of both canonical and contemporary Hispanic poetry. Sessions are open to all Hofstra students, faculty, members of the campus community and beyond. No reservation needed.
